Zach Sparks

What's up, Bupp! I'm Zach. I am the Production and Brand Specialist of Bupp Call Company. I have known my good friends and brothers in Christ, Ron and Nick, for some time. When they reached out wanting to add me to the team it was hard to say no. We have had great discussions about the Lord and how he has blessed us with the ability to share His word with other Hunters and Seekers. I have enjoyed watching them grow the company, and I am excited to bring new ideas to the table.

Some of my favorite hobbies outside of work are riding on side-by-sides, ATVs, and dirt bikes. I enjoy working on any type of motor vehicle. I have always been a person who likes to work with his hands. I also enjoy camping at new places and being out in nature as much as I can.

Outside of helping the Bupps, I love spending time with my wife and high school sweetheart, Claire. We were blessed with our first daughter, Lyla June, in January of 2025, and we will soon be blessed again with our second child in March of 2027. God has had a great hand in my family, and I am very lucky to have them by my side, especially in this new part of my life.

I grew up in a not-so-perfect household. My early childhood into my early teenage years had many challenges. My parents were only involved when they needed to be. Growing up, I never had an understanding of who God was and what he could bless my life with.

My parents never wanted to talk about God or the Bible or any of His teachings. I met my wife my sophomore year of high school. I could tell there was something different about her and her family. They had a calmness that muted my chaos in my head and life. I couldn’t fully understand what it was until later in our lives. It was their faith in God.

When we started dating, her dad and I had gotten very close. He must have seen something in me that reminded him of himself. He was one of the people I looked at and continue to look at as a mentor. I started to notice that her dad would go to church every Sunday he could. He rarely would miss one, unless he was sick. He was someone who slowly introduced me to God and his own faith. It took me time to come around to it since I have never known God.

Her family has always been open to me about their faith and the workings of God’s grace. They have never put judgment on me. Her mom always tells me to leave it to God to do the judging and keep moving with my life. I never gave church a thought until one day my wife said that she was going to start going to her Dad’s new church. I said I would go with her just to help out with our daughter, and that day is when my life changed. When I walked into church, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I didn’t realize how long I had been struggling without God in my life. He has taken my struggles and given me new light to brighten my path. I have made a promise to God that I will speak of His good word. He has changed my life for the better.

One of my favorite bible verses is Psalm 40:2: “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my going.” This verse describes the feeling I felt the day I walked into church. I felt peace for the first time.

I'm excited to spend this next chapter of life with my Brothers in Christ, Ron and Nick. I’m glad to be surrounded by like-minded people who are passionate about faith, hunting, and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.  I hope as I grow in my faith, I can help spread it to those who are willing to learn too.
