Jesus could have pointed to almost anything when teaching us not to worry.
Instead, He pointed to flowers.
“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.” — Matthew 6:28
A lily doesn't spend its life worrying about tomorrow. It simply grows where God planted it and Jesus reminds us that our Father cares infinitely more for us.
“Consider the lilies” isn't just about flowers. It's an invitation to look at something small and ordinary and remember something enormous:
The God who takes care of them has not forgotten you.
