“What is truth?” — John 18:38
The irony is almost impossible to miss. The man asking what truth was had Truth standing right in front of him.
Jesus had already said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Pilate was searching for an answer while staring directly at it.
Maybe we haven't changed much. We search everywhere for truth in culture, opinions, ourselves—while Christ still stands before us with the same answer.
Truth isn't just something to find. It's Someone to know.
